Online & Delivery
Setting up your online store and your own domain
Publish a storefront that shares one catalogue with your shop, on merxumos.com or your own web address.
1 min read
Your online store is not a separate system with a separate stock list. It shares one catalogue with your shop, so prices and stock are the same in both, and an online order takes stock off the same shelf a counter sale does.
- Open Storefront settings and choose which products are visible online.
- Set your store name, logo, colours and fonts — they follow the brand's own look.
- Set delivery zones and their charges, or offer collection from a branch.
- Publish. Your store is live on its merxumos.com address immediately.
- If you own a domain, point it at your store and follow the verification step shown on screen.
Note — Where you have several branches, stock is shown per branch and customers pick which branch to collect from — so nobody is promised something the branch they chose does not have.
Beyond the catalogue
- Coupons and discount codes for online promotions.
- Abandoned-cart reminders to recover sales that stopped at checkout.
- Product reviews from verified buyers.
- Conversion and revenue reporting for the store.
Tip — For a customer who is not standing in front of you, send a payment link for a one-off amount — useful for deposits, invoices settled over WhatsApp, or a quote accepted by phone.
