Setting up receipt printers and cash drawers
Connect thermal printers via USB or Bluetooth and configure automatic drawer opening on sale completion.

MerxumOS works with standard thermal receipt printers and cash drawers, so you can keep the hardware you already have.
- Connect your thermal printer over USB or Bluetooth and make sure your device can see it.
- In Settings, open the hardware or printing section and select your printer.
- Print a test receipt to confirm the layout and paper size.
- If you use a cash drawer, link it to the printer so it opens automatically when a cash sale completes.
Tip — You can customise the receipt with your logo, address, and a thank-you message so every receipt reinforces your brand.
