How to set up your MerxumOS account in under 10 minutes
A step-by-step walkthrough of creating your account, setting up your business profile, and making your first sale.

MerxumOS is designed so you can be selling within minutes of signing up. The onboarding wizard walks you through every step and you can change any of these settings later.
The 5-minute setup
- Create your account with your email or phone number and verify the one-time code.
- Tell us your industry (retail, pharmacy, restaurant, wholesale, and more) — MerxumOS tailors the workspace, terminology, and modules to your trade.
- Add your business name, currency (GH₵ by default), and your first branch location.
- Add a few products manually, or jump straight to a bulk import.
- Open the POS and ring up your first sale to confirm everything works.
Tip — Pick your industry carefully on this step — it sets sensible defaults for the modules you see. You can still switch industries per brand afterwards.
Once you are set up, invite your team and connect any printers so your staff can start serving customers.
