Electronics: serial numbers, warranties and repair jobs
Track individual units by IMEI or serial, register warranties, and run repairs end to end.

Electronics retail has a problem quantities cannot solve: when a unit comes back, you need to know which unit it is.
Serial and IMEI tracking
Individual units are tracked rather than counted, so you know which exact handset went to which customer and when. Look a unit up by its serial or IMEI at any point.
Warranties
A warranty is registered at the point of sale with its expiry, so a claim can be checked against a record instead of argued about at the counter.
Repair jobs
- Log the job: what came in, whose it is, and what is wrong with it.
- Quote the repair and record what the customer agreed to.
- Move the job through its stages as work happens.
- The customer can be updated automatically as it moves, which stops the calls asking whether it is ready.
- Hand back and take payment through the normal till.
Tip — Trade-ins are valued and credited against the new purchase, and the traded unit comes into stock — so a phone taken in part-exchange is stock you can sell rather than a drawer full of handsets.
